Short-video social network · iOS and Android
Only humans. No AI. Nothing synthetic.
DeadlyProbes is a short-video social network, like TikTok, YouTube Shorts or Instagram, with one difference that changes everything: every video was recorded by a person. Nothing generated by AI, nothing synthetic. What you see is real.
The thesis
The deadly probes are already here. They don't come from space.
In astrophysics, “deadly probes” is the Berserker scenario: self-replicating probes that silence every civilization they find. It is one of the explanations for why the universe seems empty. In 2026 the probes are AI agents. The channel they silence is yours.
No one can process thousands of personalized stimuli per minute
Users will hand their inboxes over to personal defensive agents. Your assistant will filter, negotiate and summarize everything that comes in through WhatsApp, email or Instagram before you see a single notification. Marketing will stop trying to persuade humans and will try to get past other agents' filters instead.
Public interaction is worth almost nothing
Open platforms will suffer an inflation of synthetic content. Comments, likes and direct messages will lose credibility because it will be impossible to tell whether they come from a person or from a swarm of hyper-realistic bots designed to manipulate trends or sell.
The refuge in closed spaces and proof of personhood
Real socializing will migrate to high-friction environments: invite-only private groups, verified servers, local communities. Proof of personhood will become the norm to enter noise-free spaces, and anonymity will become synonymous with bot.
The funnel flips
If sending millions of messages costs nothing, the barrier has to be economic. An unknown sender will deposit a few cents to reach a human inbox, and lose them if you mark the message as spam. At the same time, face-to-face contact gains value as the new luxury.
The luxury of the future
When reaching a million people costs nothing, the luxury will be a real person.
AI makes the synthetic infinite: messages, comments, voices, faces. What becomes scarce, and therefore valuable, is what a machine cannot make. That scarcity is the new luxury.
Being in the same room
Physical contact, in-person events and face-to-face conversation will be the new standard of luxury and authenticity. What cannot be faked at a distance will be worth more than anything that travels through a screen.
Knowing there is someone on the other side
When anonymity means bot, being able to prove you are a person, and knowing that whoever writes to you is one too, will be a privilege. Trust will come with proof.
Not being disturbed
Luxury will not be receiving more, but receiving less. An inbox without noise, a phone that only rings for people, whole hours without probes.
Your attention, shielded
Human attention stops being a free resource and becomes a shielded asset. Whoever wants your time will have to prove they are human or pay for it.
DeadlyProbes is that luxury turned into a social network: a place where everything you see was recorded by a real person.
What DeadlyProbes is
A social network where everything is recorded by a person.
Vertical short video, a feed to discover, follow, comment and share, like the networks you already know. The difference is the motto: only humans, no AI, nothing synthetic.
Like TikTok, Shorts or Reels
Vertical videos, an endless feed, follow, comment and share. What you already know how to use, with nothing new to learn.
Every video comes from a real camera
Content is recorded by a person with their phone's camera. Nothing generated or retouched with AI gets in.
No avatars, no cloned voices, no fake faces
No generative filters, no deepfakes, no virtual presenters. If a machine made it, it isn't here.
A person behind every profile
Proof of personhood when you create your account. No bot farms, no bought followers, no automated comments.
Likes mean something again
Every like, every comment and every follower belongs to someone. They are worth reading again.
Nothing manufactured to keep you hooked
The feed can only recommend what people have recorded. No synthetic content mass-produced to keep you from putting your phone down.
How it works
Three steps and only people.
Prove you are human
When you create your account you pass a proof of personhood. Once, and done.
Record
Record your video with your phone's camera, inside the app, and post it.
Watch only what is real
Your feed only has videos by people. If something looks synthetic, it gets reported and reviewed.
Who it is for
For anyone tired of not knowing whether what they see is real.
- Creators who really record: their work no longer competes with videos a machine makes in seconds.
- People who want to watch without doubting: every video, every face and every voice belongs to a real person.
- Communities and families: who want a space where the question “is this a person?” is already answered.
The internet filled up with machines. This network didn't.
DeadlyProbes is coming to iOS and Android. This page will fill in with the schedule, screenshots and early access.
